you could make them goth-like by using certain colors and lacy ribbon

Right... not to seem harsh but it's a little vague.

i'm sure that I know what you're talking about when you say that they're into black, white n red stuff (my daughter explained it to me lol)...& this is her suggestion for your friend's presents (not mine !). She said for you to take a photograph of your face and shoulders and store it on your pc, then visit www.picnik.com & upload your stored photograph, then search through the 100's of things which you can do to your photograph till you find one which your friends will like (you can try as many looks as you like till you find the right one)...

My daughters suggestion is to wear a stripey t-shirt when you take your photo and make sure you catch a glimpse of it in your photograph, then once uploaded on picnik.com change the photograph into black and white, then make your lips red and the stripes on your t-shirt red, print the finished photgraph out on your printer, buy a frameless clip-frame (about £1.70 for an A4 frame) from most leading supermarkets.

Autograph the corner of your photo then frame it, wrap it in black, red n white tissue paper, tie with matching ribbon and give to each of your friends for their present...

ps my daughter says if you don't want to give a photograph of yourself then to do the same thing she has suggested but instead of using your face you can wear stripey tights and pumps or plimpsoles with the laces undone and sit down with your legs out and feet crossed over each other, take a pic of your legs from the knee down and your feet and do the same thing with the photograph on picnik.com adding red n black to the stripes and laces...(believe me or not the finished phographs come out looking brilliant as Bobbi my girly has done many such photos herself)...and everyone loves 'em!x
