I'm looking for crafts to make FOR knitters

I want to make a gift for my sister, and she loves knitting, so i'm looking for a project where I don't have to need, but that will help her.

For example, a knitting kit? or something?

Has anyone got an fabulous ideas?

There are many patterns, online, for knitting needle "rolls" that are much like the ones made for holding crayons for children. Many times these are made using purchased placemats.

Needle roll, fabric envelope for holding patterns or maybe a knitting bag

Project bag. You can make one like a little tote bag or a draw string bag that she can keep her wool in when she is knitting so it doesn't roll away.

You could modify this project to make it into customized knitting needles with adorable toppers.

Stitch markers are always handy. You would just need a ring big enough to go onto a knitting needle and then dangle a small charm off it. Have a look on ebay, there's loads on there to give you ideas.

Ive seen some personalised knitting needles where you use polymer clay on the heads of the needles and put cute little things Happy

I knit (sort of!) I crochet mostly. I am always wondering a BETTER way to keep my hooks and needles all together without buying a friggin' expensice cloth holder. IDk if she has that problem but it might be her dream! I't would really be mine.lol

I also have a bitch of a time keeping my projects from getting tangled and where to put them...
I hope that helped and that your sister's b-day hasn't passed yet.
