You can fill the small ones with Lucky Stars as a gift for someone
Here is a project for the stars: http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/lucky_stars_2

I read this great idea to make snow globes from jam jars, here's a pic of my first attempt, since then I have made loads of jam jar snow globes. I get my jam jars from pattesons glass http://www.jarsandbottles-store.co.uk/index.php/glass-jars-with-lids.html its a good online store to get jars from Happy

I LOVE the jar idea that Olivia H. posted, do you think this would work for Ikea scented candle jars?? I have many of them that I would love to re use.

I use them to store visually appealing stuff in. I have ones for storing candles, embroidery floss, sharpies, incense sticks + mini ones for different coloured buttons. Then I just display them on my shelves and window sill.

Fill them with different colors of buttons and beads or use them for craft storage of things that look pretty.

The candle idea would be pretty cool, and it would be something you could give away as gifts.
