party decortion ideas?

i was looking at a site for craft ideas. and came across pots that where painted and labeled to use to sort spoons knives and forks for a party. my daughters 2nd birthday is coming up. this inspired me to do a garden party theme. i would love to make all the decorations. does anyone have any ideas on decorations i could make?
