Accessories made from neckties.

So, I happen to have a few ties in my possession that I really never plan to wear as is.
What are some creative, yet classy things I can make from the ties?

Maybe some bows, or use them as a strap for a purse? I've seen floor mats made with ties on a loom. You could even go for a challenge and combine them and make a skirt or shirt. Those are some ideas I came up with Happy

Maybe cut the straps off some tank tops and sew parts of the ties on where the cut off straps use to be. You could just use the fabric on the tie and make a hem around a plain skirt. I like the skirt idea if you have enough if them! Take a plain short skirt and sew the ties on vertically around the whole thing, that would look cool!

I've looked into that, but the ties I own are slightly discolored, and I don't really own anything that a tie would look good with.

You could use the fabric to cover beads to make really interesting necklaces and bracelets, or just use the tie fabric to make something as simple as a scrunchie.
