Unfortunately is quite expensive to have them shipped to the Netherlands.

I was in Amsterdam yesterday in shop De Haan & Wagenmaker. They have amazing reproductions of original Dutch chintz. I bought two fat quarters which I'll use to make birds. They also have an online shop: http://www.dutchquilts.com/ .

If I could use a sewing machine I would totally go bankrupt buying up all the kawaii fabric on etsy! But alas, I can only hand sew, so I'm sticking to felt.

You could just collect fabric. That's what I tell people. Great excuse to by all those pretty fabrics I'll probably won't use for ages. People collect all sorts of useles stuff. Why not fabric.

my favourite places for bits of fabric are www.ragrescue.co.uk which supplies vintage reclaimed fabric and www.vintagefabricmarket.co.uk I love to mix vintage bits with brand new fabric, I love the Cath Kidston range of fabrics at the moment.
