I am a member of team hopelessly overcommitted. I tend to look at things and think "How much?!?! I could make that."
Sometimes the things I make even work.
I love my sewing machine and overlocker. I also embroider, knit, dye, spin, bead, silver-smith, crochet (badly) and will try anything else that takes my fancy. Which is pretty much everything.
The rest of my time is taken by my two sons, Gabriel and Xander, (both also arty-crafty types. My oldest demanded a sewing machine for his 8th birthday), my talented photographer husband and my work, (stroke rehabilitation instructor for the NHS).
Housework comes a poor second to having an interesting life.
