I'm a Danish exhibiting, Textile Artist living in England with my American husband. I'm the owner of the Etsy shop "SewDanish" where I sell Scandinavian Textile Art, Unique Handmade Supplies. Most of my items are OOAK or made in limited editions. I have been crafting all my life and have touched base with a vast amount of techniques.
I love building up textured surfaces from scratch and I often use recycled materials in my work.

Hi Michelle. Thank you. I'm glad you like my work. I just cannot help making things, trying out lots of different techniques. Weaving is one of the few crafts that I have only touched very breifly. I love the feel of home woven cloth. It has a lot of 'soul', kind of like a quilt. Good luck with you project. It is always SO exciting to learn new

I'm so pleased that you like my woven bowls!
It is an old Scandinavian basket weaving technique that I was taught in school many, many moons ago. The only written instructions I have ever seen was in a Danish book that is now out of print. I will get around making and posting instructions here, hopefully pretty soon.
