YODISign was founded by Philadelphia native, Richard Yodis. At 26, Yodis ("the Yo"), eagerly explores a constant barrage of new ideas and techniques. The constant flux of life and a short attention span act as a double-edged sword... After spending his undergrad studying in Temple University's Pharmacy program (2 of 6 years completed), the inner artist pulled him away from the dull future of a "9to5" and opened a world of possibilities as a freelance artist and designer. Finally, with a B.A. in Advertising/Art Direction&Copy Writing, the only natural course of action was to put 5 years of grueling studies to the side and enjoy life as an independent artist with a service job at local foodie-favorite, M Restaurant (@MRestaurant_PHL - twitter).

Though The Yo's works are as countless as they are varied, he has found a steadfast passion in the classic art of Chainmaille (chain maille, maille, chainmail...). The creative pursuit of chainmaille demandsbclose attention to detail; and meticulous, repetitive weaving of miniature metal rings. Almost boundless in the possibilities, Yodis has finally found a niche to nestle in that will never get stale.
