Hi, I'm Lindsay, 21, from the UK.

I love crafts and art. I specialise in mainly photographic art and graphic manipulation.

I studied art through school and enjoyed experimenting with different materials, although I had a desire to move into working with fabrics and looking at making my own clothes.

My inspiration came through my mum who used to make a lot of her own clothes back in the Hippy 70's! I love looking at the clothes she's made but also finding out the process and the pros and cons of different fabrics. Here knowledge is astounding and provides a great background and advice for my beginner clothing creations!

I stumbled across this website whilst searching on the internet for ideas to alter t-shirts and I was stuck here for about 2 hours just going through all these incredible designs and tutorials of alterations and looking at everyone's fantastic creativity!

I look forward to using a lot of the 'how-to's' that are available on this website, so keep them up! I think they have already inspired me to start cutting and sewing!
