When I moved to Dubai 2 years ago, I found myself with time on my hands. Dubai is full of these amazing fabric stores - and there is so much to buy! And the best bit is that is so cheap! Doesn't matter if it's Michael Miller or plain cotton: the price is the same! I am being threatened with divorce if i come home with more fabric...! Bring on the papers!

So... i started off making things. First it was lino printing blocks - i made 500 cards... then it was bags... then felt hair clips, hair clips in general, felt kits, jersey dresses, next i am moving onto shrink plastic and probably try out jewellery...i had so much stuff that in the end i started attending arts and crafts fairs. The stuff i do is quite different... and I'm glad!

Thinking of trying knitting and smocking soon.
