What are your hobbies?

I love anything creative and now I have taught myself graphic/web design and love to create animations and video graphics that I integrate for branding in my videos on YouTube.

What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?

I love to make things for Halloween and Christmas. When it comes to Halloween, I only like to make clever and cute designs, as I am very imaginative and don't like really scary and gory things however, what truly draws me to Halloween is the magical aspect. Love is magic because we cannot figure out why we love... we just feel it! To me, that's magic!

I do love to decorate for Christmas. My design world started at a very young age when I used to help decorate my grandmother's house for Christmas... She showed me how to put real pink roses, unique fabric and other unusual things in her tree that would matched the rest of her house. Since then, I take my Christmas decorating and crafts to unusual heights. From a monarch butterfly tree to a royal Christmas Swan.

For the past 4 years, my craft room has been the wine cellar in my basement. When I first moved into the house I notice the constant temperature of 65 degrees. And I thought to myself... this would be perfect for a wine cellar...So I decided to create a wine cellar by painting faux wine barrels, archways, and stone walls. Loved it so much, it became the very location where I film my how-to videos for YouTube

Unfortunately, I just moved out of my house 2 weeks ago and now settling in to find a new craft spot.

What do you craft along to?

Whether I am painting a mural or filming a craft tutorial, I have to listen to soft classical music. As soon as I hear the sweet sounds of a violin, the right side of my brain starts to tick.

What was the first project you ever made?

As a kid, I used to love to decorate for Christmas in the yard. One year around the age of 9, I made a life size Mr. & Mrs. Santa Clause by stuffing old red clothes then stuffing my moms pantyhose for their faces... Sat them up in two chairs and faced them to the highway... I remember getting rave reviews up until my dad figured out I left spot lights turn on them for 24 hours over a week....Light bill BARRY!!!!

Did a witch on a kitchen broom the same way the following year for Halloween... I even hung her in a tree. Still can't believe she never flew away!

What are your favorite items to make?

I love making clever and unique lighting or chandeliers with unusual materials.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

A year ago I learned something about the power of my creative thoughts and feelings. I now know why for so many years I loved painting, decorating and crafting. And it's true for everyone. Simply put, when you realize life is not happening to you, its responding to you... So, you are creating life in every moment whether you realize it or not.

I've come to now believe the joy of life happens when you notice and enjoy what you love. As those things you love are the tools of life you are suppose to use to create your very own creative reality. The desire and passion to create what you love is the source that makes it. It's not what you make that is important, it's the savory adventure in making it.
