Swap Rules....

So, I will be putting together a swap next month, and this one is going to be interesting...so I will be making some rules/requirements for people to be able to join.

Was wondering if you guys have any ideas.

Here is what I have do far...

Must have been in 2 or more successful swaps...

Must have atleast 100 posts on message boards...

There will be size requirements for this particular swap (i.e. 2 small objects 1 medium, 1 small) Not exactly what I am going to put but just an example...

Only an even number will be in the swap, so there is no confusion

Send out on/by send out date, there will be a week leway. No sending out early.

You must start making projects AFTER you get partnered, not before, takes the fun out of making for a specific person

You have one week from the official beginning of the swap to back out. If you back out afterwards, then you will not be able to join one of my swaps again, and I will let other swap (leaders?) know that you are not a good swaper.

That's all I can think of so far....

comments and suggestions greatly appreciated.

it'd be nice if the swaps were a little more organized. I don't know if I've hit 100 posts yet... I don't post much on here at all, but I've been in at least 5 swaps - I think they all went alright. everything else seems very reasonable. like Interstellar, I tend to send out early, too : I get excited when I finish and the send out date seems sooo far away! but, that is a very good rule. sometimes the anticipation of the swap feels like Christmas and I guess receiving early might kinda blow that for some people. I definitely like the size requirement guidlines, as well. all your rules seem very fair Happy I can't think of anything you didn't cover Tongue

They all sound like good rules. I have to organise myself better with getting out on time, don't want to be listed as a bad swapper D':

I'm just trying to think of fair rules, so no one thinks I am being partial to anybody. It's really discuraging when things go wrong in a swap that you organize. Just trying to make everything run more smoothly.

And, I really hope I don't have to list anyone as a bad swapper! Its more for people that don't send stuff at all, and/or drop off the face of the earth.

I hope that I don't hurt anyones feelings but I would wrather do that, then have anymore people work really hard on something for someone to get little or nothing in return. its does not make swapping fun, that is for sure!
