Can I use fabric glue on a lampshade?

It's the only glue I have that makes the fabric stick. Though on the back of the bottle it says "WARNING: Extremely flammable. Contains acetone. Liquid and vapor may ignite. Do not use when smoking. Do not store or use near fire, flame, sparks or heat."

So.. will it be ok when dried? I'm sure I can't be the only one to use fabric glue on lampshades. Anyone out there ever try this without starting a fire?

i havent tried it but im sure its fine when its dry. i think it only applies to when its wet and in the bottle or what not. be careful though. if you do use it, make sure its dry when you put the lampshade on the lamp and keep a close eye on it.

Yes once its dry it should be fine, the flammable part it to keep the glue the right consistency and evaporates once dry.
