Ouch-less Scarves

Well, I recently had surgery to get a scar removed on my chin. The surgeon said that I need to cover it with a scarf, or it will turn purple forever. But the other night, I went for a walk with my dog, put on a knitted scarf, and the stiches got caught in it! It hurt so much! I had to cut the stiches shorter! I need a scarf that will not catch on my stiches, but will keep me warm so my chin doesn't look like I have purple soda running down it! Pweeese help! My health is depending on you!

You could make a scarf out of some flannel or fleece? Just cut a strip?

You need one of those desert scarves. Like this:

Hmm, I'd suggest felt or a very soft fleece too, it's tricky though. You should just go to the fabric store and rub your chin in all of the fabric to see which works best.

oops, sorry i can see how that could happen, i agree with the fleece ideas i have a cute pink polka dot on from old navy thats just strip of fleece that was fringed at the ends u could easily make it

I guess I should have save what kind of wool it was, shouldn't I? Hah I can imagine me in the clothing store wiping my chin on everything, or at Walmart hiding in the fabric bins....... LOL That was pretty strange.... Happy

You could get some silk scarves, long ones and wrap it around a few times. There super soft without and think to catch on it, and if its still to cold warp a normal scarf around that one.
