A summer of craft!!!

This summer I will have tons of free time after finishing my GCSE's, so I will be catching up on all the projects I didn't have the time to do when I was revising! I'll try to post one every day, or at least a batch of them every few days..

I want to know what projects you're up to this summer.. post your pics here for your summer of craft!!!

Ah yes summer of craftiness! My daughter will be home this summer. With budget cuts no summer school. So we plan on doing LOTS of crafts kid friendly and then I plan on lots of sewing. Im trying not to buy her any summer clothes. I have TONS of fabric and lots of clothes that can be reconstructed. SO Im on that craft project a day as well!

I am thinking of doing the same for my daughter so if you have any patterns to share that would be great. I am also making some quilts for Godchildren for birthday presents as well as Jewellery for friends birthdays.
Will look forward to seeing what you have done. Good luck.

I just made another tank top from a thrift store find shirt we got for a buck. I posted a how to, but still waiting for it to be approved. I have another in the works for tomorrow too. So far I have made her a dress, two tank tops, shorts, and a skirt for the summer all out of old clothing!

I've started crocheting an amigurumi and I'm making a rag quilt out of flannel.

oooh, they all sound great!! all those new clothes made out of old things Happy

i've covered an old school notebook with scrapbook paper,
made a chunky beaded necklace,
done a card for my dad's birthday with old stamps (he collects them!).
pressed some flowers from the garden,
made a couple of small felt things,
and,
started knitting a 6" by 6" square with the letter L on it for a knit-a-poem project at my local library! Happy

many more to come..
