I'm going to be in the local paper!

Next Saturday, a picture of me with some of the stuff I made is going to be in the Daily Globe, the Worthington, MN paper.

I just got done being interviewed by the Features writer and I'm really excited Happy I gave her a sample jar of scrub and a little facial soap. She asked me all about my products and asked me what I'm going to have at the month-long winter sale at the local Art Center.

Maybe this is the big break I've been waiting for and working hard towards getting. I'm overly ecstatic right now. This is the first time I'll be in the paper for something other than having good grades, lol.

So, watch The Daily Globe's website if you're interested! It won't be posted until next weekend though. My Etsy shop, Discordia's Apple, is going to be mentioned in the article! Happy

Congrats!! That's exciting! I'll have to check it out. I live in NC but I'll always support a fellow crafter especially one from CO+K ^_^
Will you put the link to the article up on the board when it comes out?

<3 Thanks, Pinkweeds.

I gave a bar of coffee oatmeal soap from my first cold process batch to my pottery professor at school and he said he'll spread the word about it Happy He and I know some of the same people as it turns out, so I think he likes me more, haha.
