so I have seen posts on here on how Etsy is overpriced and snobby sometimes, but man.........how I hope this isn't someone's store that has an acct here, but seriously...

$58 for a circle.....on a chain. A CIRCLE people........ I don't care if it is hammered or what, $58 is stupid.
Then in the description....ORGANIC. really? wtf.....organic..............omg..........hahaha
then you see their feedback and how many sales they have had and it is like a joke. I see so many people including myself, who put more work into awesome detailed items and sell them affordable and have very little to no sales...........
ok vent over!

A lot of people on Etsy sell crap for way over-priced amounts because it "is their art" and yeah, it is, but seriously. Take into account if it is something you know people want to buy and you want to sell, you can't expect people to pay that much if you really do want to sell it. Pick a good price so people can't stand not buying, ya know? The people on Etsy need to think about how much the materials costed, how much time, effort and other charges went into it. Then put yourself into the buyers shoes and think about how much you would pay for it, and add an itty bitty bit after how much you would reasonably buy it for. That is what I would do. Anyways, I totally understand what you mean.

I understand that someone probably put a lot of effort into it and actually want to make a bit of a profit off it but the materials didn't cost that Esty-er to make a circle on a chain. If anything, you could probably buy a thin circle like that at a local craft store and a chain at any jewerly store like Claire's.
It'd be a sum of about $20; so the whole point of selling it for $50 is just ridiculous even if you managed to put a bit of work into it.
