Started about 1 year ago · Last post about 1 month ago · Displaying all 17 Post
could you think of a good middle name for my daughter, she will be born in 7 weeks
i have chose Molly for her first names and Jones is her surname
i was gunna have Molly "Alexandra" Jones and name her after myself but isn't that being a little narcissistic
now im just a bit stuck as to what else might sound good.

    tell me your ideas :]

hmmm... not sure what sounds the best.

Usually the middle name is named after someone significant in your life. For example: mother, grandmother, godmother, sister, friend, roll model

See if any of those names sound like the "right" one. It will be a nice gesture to the person who is your daughter's name sake :)

    Congrads by the way :D

I thought renee,Maree (I don't know how to spell it I am such an idiot, but like mah-ree) Beth is also good. And Alexandra would sound pretty :) I would pick that or renee, personally :) Congradulations by the way :) And emmyann has a good point as well :)

I don't like the name Molly, only because the only one I know is an unpleasant person... lol.
I've always been partial to older names that no one uses anymore.
My mom has a "Name Your Baby" book with lots of names and their significances. Maybe use something like that to help?

If I ever have a daughter, her name is either going to be some derivative of Madeleine, Phoebe, Margaret, or Lola, the last two being a grandmother and great grandmother.

yeah i know what you mean - its hard to find a name that isnt the same as some skank who was mean to you in school.

Molly was my partners great grandmothers name

Congratulations for the baby.I think i like the name Aminda and it's an unusual name.but i also like Allexandra. It's hard to find a name when there are so many options.

im so glad people feel the same way as me about names, i dont want to have kids with the name of a bully/jerk/ex, it would make me think of them every time.
    @Laurenzoe, do you mean "Mary"?(mah-ree)

Molly is just the name of my intolerable sister in law.

I think Tara or something like it might work.

@Laurenzoe, could it be Marie your thinking of? :)

I like Molly Alexandra Jones but what about a deviation so it isn't the same as your name but similar?
Maybe Molly Alexis Jones, Molly Alessia Jones..something like that
I also like Molly May Jones just because it would be a cute little girls name

Well, I know someone whos last name a first name sound like her first name and it's really cute so... Maybe Molly Ann Jones. That Way if people think her name is too long { :p } she has a wonderful nickname. Or You could possibly do a deviation of Alexandra and do "Xandra" Or "Andrea." You could also do a deviation of someone else's name, perhaps your great grandmother since you use your partners great grandmothers name for her first name.

What about Molly Lavigne Jones or Molly Adriane Jones
or you should think of your role model or someone who's inspired :)
    hope I helped :D

What is the babies heritage as far as bloodlines goes. Molly sounds like a Scottish or Irish name. If the name Molly comes from his side, what is your lineage? Maybe a name that denotes your ancestry.
