Please CuttOutAndKeep, we need an actual costume contest for the rest of October 2011!

Please Crafterella or Tom, please, we can't have just a book making themed contest (http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/contests/finish-this-contest)for the rest of October as the site's only contest! What about those of us who have made Halloween costumes and want to put it up into a contest on this same site? We don't have that chance this year it seems like, so please make a costume contest this year, just like the one you had last year!

Tom and Cat have been so busy traveling lately that I'm surprised they even managed to have time to have the one contest to be honest. I know they were recently in Canada visiting family and are looking forward to spending Halloween in the states where it's a big holiday. Anyhow, I think the incentive of posting your Halloween costumes for others to admire is a good enough one without needing a “prize”.

good idea the book making comp is pretty stupid by the time you buy all the materials to make an entry you could have just bought the book. besides there are some breathtaking costumes on here

Hey! I like the book making contest I had alot of altered books already made, and this contest is really cool (to me)

but...I do agree there should be a costume contest not because people "need" a prize, but because it's fun to see what everyone else has made and really cool that it's all in one place. I am happy when someone who's craft I really liked wins first place, because I have been secretly rooting for them. It's like the crafty version of sports or something.
