I had to record The Bill for my mum last night, even though I told her about ITV's catch up service she went "I'm not going to sit in front of the computer watching The Bill!" and i was like "Well I'm not going to waste my evening trying to figure out the video recorder." I did though. I'm lovely like that.

I just found out my textiles grade- A! I got an A in the exam (how?!) and then As in the rest of my modules and last year too so A! woo.

Roma, congrats =)

I'm so tired... we had an exam the last three days (sewing... that's why it was three days for one exam ^^), had a small test (theory) today and went to the museum afterwards. It was all fun, even the exam... but I think I'll spend the whole weekend sleeping. Well, maybe.
And next monday we'll have a presentation of our exam pieces... I'm scared xD

WELL DONE ROMA!!!!! Wow an A!!!!

I wish there had been some where to take a textiles A level not just an Art one! I should have done textiles but I don't have a sewing machine and I think the textiles peoples breif was to use a sewing machine only for one of the projects and I don't have one.

Good Luck to everyone doing exams!

We had an earthquake down the South of Iceland today 50km away measuring 6.1 and we felt it here in Reykjavik! I was in work on the 3rd floor and everything shook like crazy, it was very scary!

6.1 can be a pretty scarry quake. I heard about it from a coworker just a few minutes ago and thought about you.
Being high up on the 3rd floor! Things must have been rocking and rolling!
Glad nothing fell on you....

Thanks for thinking about me Happy I was in work in the hotel on the 3rd floor landing which looks out over the lobby, which is covered in glass! The lights hang from the ceiling and were swaying like mad.

Doesn't seem like anyone was injured, but the road into Selfoss(the town where the epicentre was) is closed as the bridge was damaged and people have been told to stay outside due to aftershocks.
