Imagine...

Please help me!
We have an art assessment at school, and the theme is 'imagine'. we can make any 2d design, but i'm really stuck for ideas. anyone have any?

Another angle would be to imagine the world (or some other entity) with or without something and portray it (for example - a city without electricity - no cars, lighting etc so power would be biological / chemical / mechanical). Although this may get complicated the best idea is to keep it simple and the theme obvious.

If you are into fantasy you could imagine what would be seen if some other animal rather than humans evolved to our society.

I find that these single word themes give great scope for doing what you want as long as you can justify it (but this may depend on your tutor).

You could also go down a more surrealism route and draw things that are distorted in some way or in unexpected places.
