Born in Fairbanks, Alaska back when it was a territory. Spent most of my life in Alaska and New Mexico. Divorced at age 33 and found employment as a pump mechanic to provide for my 2 children.(hated the job but loved the dependability) I'm all for women's lib. but now realize that womens' bodies are made different than mens' and there are some jobs they should not be doing. I'm on an early Socal Security stipend because of the trauma the job had on my body. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the salary and benefits the job provided, and it was there when I needed it. Too bad I didn't have a colleg education to get a better job that wouldn't trash my body. I know now that I probably would have been an architect, or something to do with the building process. Oh well, my monetary producive years are gone and I need to make the best of the remaining.
I've been doing a lot of sewing and enjoy doing quilts. Soon, I would like to do sculpting in polymer clay. Just not quite yet.
