When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
I've always loved both fashion and craft, and so it was a natural progression to start DIY-ing clothes! My Grandmothers taught me to knit and crochet when I was really little, and since then I've found that there's so much more you can knit than wooly scarves; the opportunities are pretty much endless. More recently I've started to get into sewing. I still have a long way to go though!
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
As a blogger, I get a lot of fashion inspiration from other bloggers. My all-time favourite style inspirations are Isabella from Views of Now and Zanita from Zanita.com. I also love festival fashion as everyday wear, so I get lots of inspiration looking at what people like Mimi Elashiry wear to festivals.
What are your ultimate style tips?
First and foremost, don't worry about what others might think of your clothing choices or whether or not your fashion is in style. Just choose things that YOU love to wear and go for it! I also love clashing patterns, and opshops are a great place to go for funky fabrics and styles. They're also fantastic if you want to try out a new style but don't want to spend a lot of money!
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
I would love to borrow Mimi Elashiry's entire wardrobe- I am in love with her laid-back, hippy style. If I had to choose one thing, it would probably be her beautiful kimonos.
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
I love to read a lot of different fashion blogs, but my favourites are Views of Now, Fabuleia, Shanni Side Up and Zanita.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
The main crafts that I focus on are knitting, crocheting and sewing, as well as some cross-stitch now and then. Blogging is my biggest hobby because it combines all my hobbies into one- photography, writing, styling, and craft! I also love playing with my cat and dog, listening to music.
