Buying glasses online

I am considering buying a pair of glasses online from www.selectspecs.com. Has anyone ever bought glasses from this company? I am wondering about the validity of this company.
These are the pairs I am debating between, I have a oval face so I am leaning towards rectangle frames. What's your impression on these frames?

I've never bought glasses online.... but since I have a similar frame than the ones you want... I can tell you that is SOOOO much better if you try them on before buying... not only because of the shape, but because of the color...
my advise is pretty obvious, I know... but many times I have liked a frame because of the color, but when I try them on it's like "umm... better look for another >.<"... even though the shape suits me...

Those are cute!!
I recently bought glasses from http://www.coastalcontacts.com. I discovered this company when I needed to buy contacts. They are priced pretty good, have a great selection and I always get my orders in a timely manner. You can probably find the styles you showed above on there too.

Oh yeah and you can find coupon codes to get better discounts.

Over the past three years I have bought about six pairs of glasses from selectspecs, and one pair from glassescrafter.com
They have all been a great success.
I started out buying budget ones as I was a bit nervous about them at first, but a few weeks ago I bought a pair of Gant Yasmin from them, for approx. one third of the price they wanted in my local opticians, and they are great!
My sister in Spain also uses selectspecs, as they deliver anywhere. The cheaper glasses come from HongKong and take about 2 weeks to arrive. The designer ones in the UK are delived from England.
If you want a designer frame, go and try the on first at a big opticians, take a note of the style code and colour, then buy them online for a fraction of the price!
I can recommend them Happy

@ Nora C: Nice to hear a good story about selectspecs! Almost every review I have read has been negative, but I figured most people only write a review to complain so I should ask around.
I am definitely going to buy a budget pair of specs first so if something goes wrong I will only loss $10, since reimbursement also seems to be a problem with most online companies.

@ Mod: I actually came across the website you mentioned when I was researching where to buy contacts from online. Unfortunately they do not stock the brand I need because of my astigmatism. Their glasses are also more expensive, so I will stick to select specs, at least this time. Happy

@ Sweet C: I have been taking shape, color, and bridge into consideration. I have had similar colored glasses in the past so hopefully these flatter my face as well. I really wanted to try something different since my old glasses are black. Since I'm an autumn the colors should work well with my skin tone, hopefully they are true to the colors shown online.

Does anyone have a favorite among the glasses shown? I like them all! That doesn't really help me narrow it down though.
