laptop recommendations?

Hello all,

I'm the most tech-UN-savvy person so I need advice. I'm in need of a new computer, specifically, a laptop and looking for it to be around $400 or less. I currently have my eye on the new HP 2000 2b 19 wm.. (under $400), but I keep hearing complaints about the new Windows8? can anyone explain whats so horrible about it?

I'm not much of a gamer so I dont need a computer for that. I'm mainly looking to use it for photoshop/photo editing and illustrator, web browsing and running my blog, watching movies, and possibly skype-ing.

Any rec's/suggestions appreciated!
