ART + Science

I am a working artist who also has a career in the Health Sector. I am planning to go back to school to get a BSC in Neuroscience.

ART + SCIENCE

It's my life. I have a degree in fine art and I'm thinking about going back to get a degree in math so that I can get a degree in theoretical physics from a topological perspective, dealing with stuff such as chaos mathematics and how they will help with actually thinking about string theory and the like. I know what I just said completely jumps several compartments of math/science/whatever, but I think the big breakthroughs will come putting it all together, instead of pigeon-holing everything. And that's how I think about it all.

I was thinking about doing more with astrophysics as well, but I really have to narrow down what I want to do. I have too much on my plate. But I did so love it.

The worlds are completely blended already. At least for me, but then again I started out as a science person, very bad at art. The real problem for me is I see no problems with science and religion holding hands at all, and I get all sorts of crap for that, from BOTH parties ALL the time.

Ooooh, this is ME. I am planning on getting my bachelors degree in biochemistry, or physics. But I also love art, and books. So I want to get a masters in information and library science. The art part is pretty much imbedded in me already. I tend to see the world in a holistic way, with science, creativity, and religion intertwined. Same with scientific disciplines.

i see it as two seperate things! I'm good at english, music and art...being creative but i'm hopeless at maths and with science when it comes to the more complex things.

But science and maths is in art and can be about science and stuff and people have lots of different interests.

art & science are linked completely! so many very analytical people also love to play an instrument, or have another artistic endeavor- such as making jewelry.

Mmm Science. I love Science haha. I'm planning on doing a degree in Zoology (animal science basically), and at the moment I'm doing Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A level.
I think Science and Art can be linked, for example there are lots of geometric patterns in nature that follow a mathematical formula and they look really pretty. A lot of people use nature as an inspiration for their art, and when you look closely at it and at the science behind it then in my opinion it becomes even more beautiful. And there are lots of formulas in the sciences that can be applied to produce pieces of visual art.
