Staying cool and staying fresh - any ideas welcome

I get really hot and sticky most days and it can make me feel really grim. I have a slightly dodgy thyroid but its underactive not overactive so that shouldn't be affecting it. I wear vest tops most days (even in winter) and use a good deodarant. I also shower/bath daily but I always feel like I'm baking. I don't think it is physical but dr is checking me out, it may be a bit of anxiety but either way I'm trying to find some practical ways of feeling a little less like a walking sauna when I'm at work. I have bought a heavy duty deodarant but unfortunately my skin is quite sensitive so it just stings Happy
Any ideas would be very welcome Happy

I drink way to much coffee :/ I'll try cutting this down and see if it helps. I also probably don't drink enough water so I'll have an experiment and try increasing this too.

thats an idea. I might start bringing a bottle around with me at work too. One of my work colleagues does that and it seems to help her remember

I get quiet sticky during the day too (I live in a sub tropical climate). I've taken to keeping those body wipes in my draw and using them during the day. You can usually get them in the same scent as your deo too so you don't have to walk around smelling like baby powder all afternoon. It doesn't stop the situation but it does help with the "grim" feeling Happy. Most pharmacys and large grocery chains carry them.

I don't sweat or get sticky much but I have to use a guys deoderant... and I take a mini one with me in my bag to Uni and top up when I can. It still sucks hardcore. I try to drink as much water as possible because it keeps you hydrated and I think that may cool you down a bit? But will make you want to pee more... I wish I new of some sort of natural remedy to combat this.

I had a GP appointment today and I just happened to mention this to him and he suggested that I make sure that my hands and feet are warm enough because what might be happening is that my hands and feet get cold and send and message to my brain telling it to turn the heating up (well its a bit more technical than this but you get the idea) and it warms up the middle part of me as thats where all my organs and things are and they are the priority. I'm going to try this out somehow tho I don't know about wearing gloves at work. There is a kind of logic to it and maybe why even in the coldest weather I'm dripping in sweat and feeling horrible. I have cut down my caffiene a little so I'll see if that helps too.

I have hypothyroidism, so my temperature is really screwed up. I can wear t-shirts in gym class (in a gymnasium indoors), and I still get kinda hot. But my friend is wearing this wool hoodie, and she runs around just a little less than I do. In the change room, she and a lot of other people complain about how cold it is, but I do not feel anything. I recommend wearing more lightweight shirts, so that means nothing with heavy fabric material (ie wool). Also wear layers of lightweight clothing in the cooler months, and also using skin products for sensitive skin so that no pores will get clogged up, leading to further elevation of temperature.
