Graduating

It's scary, what happens next?

Who else is feeling the post-education jitters?

What happens next?

you sit on your arse for an entire year getting fat and losing the will to live

Is that the only option?

Personally I prefer the post-grad option, though it does involve a certain loss of will to live... (cos i finish in september but don't officially graduate till...oooh a year in november...)

So umm...

Job hunt! Get as much industry work as you can whether paid or not, anything to get experience and credits. Indomiatable self belief is probably a useful trait too?

And don't let the grind get you down cause it'll all be worth it in the end.... at least I hope so... *clings to hope*

I found the worst thing was trying to figure out what I actually wanted to do next; I'd have done a postgrad but the amount of stress I'd gone through at uni meant I wanted a bit of a rest.

Just look for what's available, though. I got a job "temporarily" to get my bearings and ended up really liking it.

Yeah, we should all go and party with the £2000 that we didn't have in the first place.

I don't think it's written off for people that graduated this year or earlier, is it?

It said "current students", so I assume that means me.

I know this post is like 2 years old... but I would like to wonder what you all ended up doing next? I graduate this year, finish in July? Graduate in Novemeber and I have no idea what I want to do and stuff. How did you all end up doing? I'm feeling the stress of my 3rd year, dissertations and stuff, let alone graduation!!
