Looking for friends

Hey, I have been on the site for a while but this is my first post.
Im 18, live in the UK and Im looking for friends to chat to and find out about how they started out in the craft world and what kind of stuff you do!
I've had a complicated time with 'friends' so am now looking for people to talk to Happy
I love craft and animals most. Im not doing much crafting etc. at the moment but I do keep thinking of things to do once I've got money and I do draw a bit.

So leave a comment if you wanna chat or become friends or whatever!

I'm always up for chatting. Happy I like sewing and jewelrymaking but I also make cold process soap and I know how to make wine and mead.

How long have you been crafting?
I'm going on 23 this year and I've been sewing since I was about 6.

Hey yo!! WASSUP!
I'm up for new friends! I love crafting especially making bracelets and ive always loved chipmunks Tongue
I'm really hyper(when no one is looking?!) and I like making lip gloss and paint. (I've posted the tutorial already.) My aim--- fashion designer or a cake decorater. Maybe I'll start to open a jewelry shop first. I like drawing too and a little good at it. That's all I can think about now.

Hey guys thats awesome! I cant make anything as technical as all that tbh. I mainly started crafting properly and more seriously when I was 14 as I took textiles for 2 years at school. Ive made a variety of things but never stuck to anything properly although I do own a sewing machine and use that for stuff Happy Would love to learn how to make something a bit quirky and be able to stick to it but dont have a clue what to do!! Any ideas??

Well, the first step to making anything quirky is to not be afraid of anything! I never did anything super cool until I realized I was being too afraid of the mistakes I could make... then I sewed a skirt out of silk ties and if you can do that, there is no reason to be afraid of anything. lol

When I'm stuck on ideas, I usually just doodle or mess around with my tools and materials until I figure out something to do.
