Old toys you had when you were a kid

I just wanted to start a new topic about toys! What toys did you have when you were a kid? post links and pictures if you like! If you have multiple toys you would like to share (I mean a ton!) then post a blog about it and link it here!

I already posted a blog post when I saw some toys I use to have or did have.
(Here is the link: http://toasty-surprises.blogspot.com/ It's the latest post )

We still have some of those toys! which is amazing! (some aren't mine but we still had them so I shared them on the blog post anyway.)

HAVE FUN <3

Oh my! I still have a ton of my old toys. Well, I gifted them to my niece so they would be played with.
Here is a link of a picture I took just recently. http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?pid=4780982&id=510049076&ref=fbx_album&fbid=412694569076 Starlight, the plastic horse, and the blue unicorn are some of the toys I gave. I mainly played with My Little Ponies or Grand Champions. I had a massive collection of toy horses/ponies/unicorns/etc. They all went to my niece. ^_^ My ultimate toy is my stuffed bear, Bushy. She is still with me. ^_^

I still have my rag doll Ukelele and she's still in great condition! Bit like Towey though, I had My Little Pony and my mum's Sindy. One of my best memories of childhood is being taken to the the toy market on thursday and getting a new My Little Pony which was subsequently washed in my Tiny Tears bath (anyone remember Tiny Tears?) Still haven't grown up though as my husband and I have bears from Build a Bear commemorating our wedding.

My ultimate favorite: Cabbage Patch Kids. I loved getting my adoption papers in the mail.

Also:
Poppels
Light Brite
Leggos
those little dolls that turned into cupcakes
Polly Pocket
Matchbox cars and Tonka trucks. (And the dirt in my back yard)
Playdough
Making mudpies
Playing "baker" with stale bread to make cupcakes and stuff to feed to our chickens.
Chalkboard

I had this pom pom on a skinny stick that my stepsister brought home from spirit week at school. I turned it over and used the pom pom as the hair. I played "dolls" with that pom pom more than with my actual dolls! lol

My favorite toy as a kid was leggos, you could just do so much with them and it provided hours of fun for me and my lil bro when we were stuck at the salon with my mom.

I also loved:

-my poppy dolls
-ET doll
-Mr. Turtle a toy I had since I was about 6 or 7 and still have him.
-Pound puppies
-Polly pocket
-my bumble bee toy
-hot wheels cars
-airplane models
-kite
-jumprope
-Hello Kitty
-paper dolls

I still have my cabbage patch kid doll! He is bald with some dinosaur pajamas on! I use to have a ton of barbies but donated them. I also had some little people. But I have to say leggos was probably my favorite! The container was shaped like a hippo! I also had a fake kitchen (which I never played with because it was in the garage with all the scary cockroaches.) I only had one my little pony because I begged for one and got it. I miss all those toys. Now toys just require batteries or the toy is meant for only one story. Like if you got a princess doll what would you play? princess and that's it. But I guess some kids would think outside the box of playing princess. That reminds me I also had some dress up clothes. With the cheap plastic heals. I stopped when my feet got to big and then one time I tried them on and they broke. Happy

I also had a cabbage patch doll. Loved her to bits, my dear Polly. She had brown curly hair so cute! Still have my ultimate fave dolly she will never leave my side!

I also had a polly pocket. Had some rubbery clothes that were so hard to get on. Finally they ripped and I donated her.

Didn't the cupcake dolls have a really sweet plasticky smell?

Yes they did. I LOVED that smell.

Oh and May, did your fake make up come with the fake nails that you put over the tips of your finger (kind of like a finger puppet, only plastic) I had some of those. I wore them to school once because in my own little imagination I thought people would think they were real. lol

Oh man! My favorite toy. That's a hard one. Well at 6 my favorite toy was the cabbage patch size troll doll with a giant "wish" stone for a belly button. It was so awesome and don't know what happened to it.

ps My mom bought it for me for christmas because i was using to much aluminum foil on troll clothing and accessories.

Wow, probably best not to get me started on this one, Im younger than a lot of you, so I guess what I used to play with was a bit different..
I loved pokemon, ever since I can remember.. I have hundreds of them, even now.. Me and my brother.. are kinda nerds when it comes to pokemon. But theres one, Raichu, that I will never ever ever get rid of. It used to go everywhere with me, except when I was getting changed, it couldnt be in the same room, or it at least had to turn its back. Even as a 3 year old, I was quite self concious.
Umm... what else.. barbie, I (surprisingly) was quite a feminine little kid.. I had about 40 bratz dolls.. Shameful, I know. That fake make up stuff May said, I remember my 6th birthday party, all my friends went home with blue or purple eyebrows because I'd gotten 'make up' for my birthday. My skills have since improved.
I had a cabbage patch kid.. and then i got another when i was 10, and i used to sew clothes for it.

wow, i better shut up now. sorry, got a little carried away
