It's probably all been said before...

I'm loving this site!
I'm glad to see people around my age with similar interests.
I've kind of felt like the only one for so long! I've been called "nanna" since I was 15 for all my knitting and sewing and crochet! (and I'm not even very good at any of it.)
I love anything crafty, but I haven't really honed any skills yet. Can't wait to see my skills improve using everyones How-tos and pictures for inspiration. Especially with my first child only 2 months away!

This is also one of the friendliest sites I've been to, and definitely the only site I've ever posted on! I'm normally only a spectator, but here everyone is so supportive of everyone else!

Hiiii!

You can see how people have got better and better at craft if you look through their projects. I can even see it in mine and I usually always get artist complex (when nothing is ever right or good!) haha aaw people are always funny about knitting! My boyfriend still finds it hilarius even though I don't make old fashioned things!

Has anybody noticed the amount of knits about on the high street, I know it's getting cold and all but they're very up to date and also I've seen cupcake and russian doll accessories which are big craft 'icons', I think fashion designers are spying on us!

Lol Lilim... I guess it IS all in the tone, huh!?

I think my husband would like to laugh at me knitting, but then he realises that I'm holding pointy metal sticks and chooses instead to enthuse over the project, asking if I can make it in red for him... lol...
