Bento Box

So, I went and order Bento boxes for both my daughter's and mine lunches, so we could cut down on the use of sandwich baggies. We just got them the other day. Now, after two days of use, I'm absolutely in love with mine. I was wondering if others have Bento boxes and if they enjoy theirs?

I would LOVE to get one!! they're so awesome!! They're a bit expensive on Ebay, and there's no place to buy them where I live. But I would love to do the whole bento experience - with the decorative dishes, and wrapping the boxes... I love the idea of it all!

I live in the land of bento boxes -if anyone wants me to find them some, PM me and we'll try to sort something out *^_^*

Every day, there are tons of people, both men and women who use bento for their lunches and especially for spring picnics during the cherry blossom season.

The best way to wrap and carry it is with an eco friendly furoshiki cloth. I sell small ones, but I can help you find sites for bigger ones too.

I have a bento and LOVE it, though I don't use it as often as I should. It takes effort to figure out just what all to put in for a balanced meal (preferably that looks good too), and I don't usually have time for that kind of effort in the mornings before work. If you haven't already, check out justbento.com. She has all sorts of fun and simple recipes for bento that can be made the same day or ahead of time. I've printed out quite a few and started my own bento recipe book. (In an old vintage photo album!) Now if I can just tear myself away from the craft projects long enough to cook I'll be set! Happy
