I love the first pic - are they a fungus? They look really magical. The berries are beautiful too. I love going out and about in autumn because nature produces such beautiful colours at this time of year.

It's a Callicarpa bodinieri, most likely the variety "Giraldii" of de "Profusion" my sister says.

hey, in another post there was an idea of maybe setting up a seed swap
id love to trade some nanking cherry seeds for your purple berries.. their beautiful!

heres pics of nanking cherries

in spring the flowers are so pretty and smell nice.. and the cherries are edible.. can even make jam out of them Happy

Swappings seeds sounds like a great idea. Only problem is that many trees and bushes are either inoculated or crossed with other varieties or a combination of both. So planting the seeds doesn't garantee you'll get what you're hoping for. But if you'd like to give it a try, I'd say we should just do it Happy

Ya why not.. Its not gonna hurt anyone by trying Happy and seeds are small so sending them will be super cheap Happy
