Hm I applied for one and never heard back...
I guess it's not such a bad idea, it's just sooo competitive here at the moment. I thought that living near central London would have helped but it hasn't Happy

how about agencies? like job agencies. Anyway that feild is super competive, I am a designer and you got like 100 people applying for one position. You have to stand out, its hard

I take back what I said before about advertising is the worst thing to me. No, making demos! I have been working on demos all week now and it's seem like I will never finish them all! ;(

Michelle: Well at the moment I need experience and no-one is considering me either because I don't have a 2:1 or a 1st (I have a 2:2 which is like C grade which I'm super happy with btw!!) and/or because I don't have experience, so for a year or two I plan on either getting some perm or temp admin experience, then I can specialise in becoming either an HR Admin or a Marketing Admin. That'll be how I break into those departments (I think).

Cloudgurl11986: Argh that sounds really really annoying, long and boring!!

Yes, it's long and a bit boring after awhile of making the same things over and over again. I'm starting to feel like I will never open this darn shop!

Michelle: I know, but I don't have experience either!! It's like how am I meant to get the experience if no-one will consider me? Well it's Sept so a lot of the Graduate Schemes open here and there are about 7 or so that accept people with a 2:2 or above, so as soon as they open I am going to apply for them (YAY!!). So wish me luck on that front...

girl, I feel you. I get the same thing. I need the experience, but can't get the job

It's sooo stupid, they should have jobs that need people with experience and either have jobs that don't required experience and are willing to train you or make apprenticeships and/or internships more readily available. Everyone I know has mentioned these to me and I've looked but it's like well where am I meant to apply for one?

Well I'm going to keep going... something will come up eventually, I mean it's only been about 3 or 4 months, typically it takes a Graduate about 6 months and that was BEFORE all this recession cr*p!!!

The worst thing is being afraid to draw anything and everything I want to. I feel like the dark things I want to draw will have people judge me and send me back to my therapst. I feel like only artists understand me and those who see my art judge me based on what i draw not why i draw it. I love art and but its my coping outlet, too. People dont understand that.

artists block! Happy and having a project turn out the complete opposite of the way you wanted it too.
