When did you first start knitting / crocheting and where did you learn?

I first started knitting when I was still in primary school. I remember my mom teaching me how to crochet, so in class I was the only one advanced enough to use a crochet hook, all the others were finger-crocheting. How proud I was! A few years ago I really learned how to knit and crochet. Mostly from youtube videos since the drawings in pattern books were not helpful at all. From that moment on I my skills started progressing and soon I was writing patterns myself!

Can you remember the first thing you made?

The first thing I ever crocheted was supposed to be a tablecloth. The next Christmas I would get my very first pet - a turtle - and I wanted to make something nice to put underneath the aquarium. However, Christmas arrived way too soon and the tablecloth ended up as a dish cloth for my mom!

Who are your favourite pattern designers and celebrity knitters & crocheters?

There is so much talent out there, it's hard to choose! For knitting, it's definitely Andi Satterlund. I'm knitting her Miette at the moment, and her pattern is so wonderful, it fits perfectly and notes are included to make alterations if you want. Very impressed with all of her work!
Crochetwise, there are a LOT of people I admire. The people behind wonderful blogs ByHaafner and Handy Kitty, Maya from Little Treasures, Kate from Greedy for Colour, Maaike from Crejjtion (her photos are a-ma-zing), Ingrid from Ingthings.. the list goes on and on.

What are your favourite things to stitch and do you have a favorite item you've made?

I love to make amigurumis, so quick and easy to make! Not a big commitment, they don't lie in your to-make-basket for months, you only need a bit of yarn.. They're just too cute sitting around my desk, they make me happy!

What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to stitch along to?

Pretty Little Liars and Grey's Anatomy! Although with Grey's Anatomy I sometimes have to cover my eyes if it gets too bloody, haha..

Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?

I used to draw and paint a lot, but now my main hobbies/crafts are knitting and crocheting. I love how the possibilities are endless! I get more inspiration everyday.
Besides crafting, I also like baking, playing videogames and translating.

Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Thank you for featuring me as a Knit & Crochet Superstar! I really like to share my crafts with everyone, so thanks for this opportunity! :)

What's your favorite...

TV Show
At the moment I'm watching Grey's Anatomy again, but usually I'm into fantasy stuff like Grimm and Once upon a time
Band
Maroon5, Owl City
City
Barcelona. Such a beautiful city with gorgeous Gaudi and Dali artwork.. And the best of all: Spanish people really love handmade stuff!
Movie
Crazy Stupid Love! Movie time is relaxing time for me, so I prefer movies where you don't have to worry or think too much. Perfect with a crochet or knitting project nearby!
Book
Harry Potter! Most definitely. When reading the books I was the same age as Harry, so it was all very exciting for me, haha. I sometimes wish I could forget all about the books just so I can read them again for the first time.
Color
Anything pastel
Yarn Brand
Scheepjeswol and Drops for cotton, Lana Grossa for woolly fibers
Places To Knit/Crochet
At the table, notebook next to me so I can take pattern notes while working. Possibly a laptop in front of me with my favourite show playing :)
