The single (you know the one) kinda makes me not want to get it. I mean, yeah, they've never exactly been filed under "class act" but I just found it cheap.

I personally think that the album is kick ass.
Ich tu dir weh (#2 on the CD) is my fav.

you´re right cinnamon, i think the lyrics gets better every album and the music is more versatile... actually, your favorite song caused the german minister of family affairs to put the album on the black list of youth endangering media...
my fave is frühling in paris because of the singers voice and haifisch because it´s a kind of modification of "the ballad of mackie messer" from the threepennyopera by bertholt brecht

I just got the album a few day's ago, and i love it xD the song haifisch is soo coowl, well, al the song's are cool. I've got the special edition with a extra cd with 5 more songs and it what totaly worth my money ^^ and i just think it's really cool that you al listen to that music i thought i whas whan of the few ^^ but about fruling in paris, is that a cover? becouse the frensh in the song issn't from rammstein but from someone else, i can't remember how, my parent's say'd it whas from someone else soo :S

I've asked my parent's and they told me that Edith Piaf whas the artist who came up with the lyrics. But I've listend to the song and saw the (translated) lyrics and nor the song nor the lyrics look like the song from rammstein ^^ so they only like 2 lines from the song, thats all xD oh and rammstein is way better that efith if you would aks me xD

Yeah the song it's taken from is really famous, they just took the two lines. Mm I've been a Rammstein fan since I was eleven, they were the first proper band I got into (you know, after Spice Girls and stuff)

Kyotsi, I just love Rammstein, I've always loved them for being totally filthy and outrageous. I just found it hilarious, especially as I thought that the Mann Gegen Mann video was as far as they would go haha.

haha the firts time I heard rammstein I whas like 11 to but I didn't liked it at firts, than, my friend was so freaked out (in a funny way) because her germanteacher let the class listen to 'Rein Raus' xD I listend to the song and I just couldn't stop laughing because of the lyrics. I told my bf about it and he said; if you think thats grose, you should see the clip of 'Buch Dich' and 'Mann Gegen Mann' so i did and an other friend of mine copieed some of her cd's for me and now I just love them xD I really like the kind of music that they make, that hard and hevy industrial sound of the keyboard and the gitars, and the lyrics are just ameazing xD al my friends think I'm creazy because I just like the alternative bands but I don'd care Rammstein is just great

well i'm gonna try to listen to 'ich tu dir weh' and to count how manny words he get's to say before i have to turn it off xD than iff i get a second chance i'll tunr on fruling in paris (a) but i don't think it's gonna happen :'( becouse i don't have a cool teacher xD i mean, she will never let me turn on rammstein, she's to clever, becouse i think my class wil pritty mush freak out becous it's not the kind of music that the know and it's german o.0 whahaha

Yeah when I play most people Rammstein, I'm met with "Oh god, it's in German". Like how egotistical can you get? So what they don't sing in English, they're NOT English!

I'm not a Rammstein fan (I'm German and don't like most of the lyrics), but you guys make me curious about the new album
When I heard about the new video in which the band simply performed p**n, I was disgusted. Not because of the video itself, but I think such a famous band with lots of teenage fans should act more responsibly. Just to say that parents should watch over what their children get to see is a little daft. And there are other, far more creative ways of getting the media to talk about their music. Their idea to wear fatsuits for the video (and performances) to "Keine Lust" was simply hilarious!

I don't think Rammstein are really about acting responsibly =P to be fair, the song is called "Pussy" and it's an entire song about sex, I'm not totally sure they could have done much else with it. I actually thought it was the logical step from their Mann Gegen Mann video. I was listening to Rammstein since I was eleven (looking up the lyrics and everything) and it hasn't affected me badly. I just have a better sense of humour because of it.

For me, as long as the band respects their fans, which Rammstein do totally, I don't care what they do. They produce great music, they never cancel gigs and get about as much as they can, they've been going for like fifteen years now...I don't mind them having creative license over their own videos haha. Besides, it WAS hosted on a porn site.
