I have been making mutated hybrid wearable art for about 10 years now, trying to make it my proffession.
I don't use sewing machines because I don't really trust machines in general, I like to get kinda personal with my projects and I think that machines take that away sometimes. Plus they're loud and I hate thread. I do all my sewing with embroidery floss, it adds a certain character that thread lacks, I think.
I also make bone jewelry, feather earrings, and leather pouches (possibles bags), but I'm mostly known for my handmade undies that I fashion out of recycled T shirts.
I have recently taken an interest in corsetry and Tshirt weaving and cutting, if you have any good advice on either, please contact me.
