Robert and I met in Arizona. (For Bonnie-he was serving a mission for our church when we met, we re-met while I was at Ricks <now BYU-Idaho>)He is from Southern Idaho. We were married in 1993. He works for the US Border Patrol, going on 12 years. We had Cheyenne in 1996. We tried for years to have another baby. I found out in 2004 I couldn't have any more kids. We decided to try foster parenting. We had 1 placement, a 4 year old girl. She only stayed with us a few months. We had another placement, a 2 year old boy, Michael. We thought it was going to be temporary, it wasn't! He has been with us for 2 1/2 years, and within the next month or so, the adoption paperwork will be final and he will be part of our forever family! We knew we wanted another child, we just didn't know it was going to happen this way!
