Born in Racine, WI, owned my own restaurant, worked for Golden Books, Andrews McMeel and now Meredith -- better known as Better Homes adn Gardens. Hobbies include reading, creating, photography, most proud of being a great mom. 4 years ago I started a Social Club for teens and Young Adults called Our Friendship Club; we now have almost 30 members and we meet monthly for movie, dancing, crafts, going out to eat and while we have facilitated friendships for the young adults, the real rewards are ten-fold back to us parents with a support group that is growing each day.
