Being a mom has taught me a lot about life. Your words, actions and feelings have a huge effect on those around. Don't say if you don't mean it. I live life to the fullest of cups I want those around me to know they are loved, respected and appreciated and never want them to question my feelings for them. I don't judge people there are enough people out there doing that, you live your life I'll live mine if the two paths cross I hope our collision is gentle. I speak the truth even when it hurts. I call it as I see it and if you become offended then I've called it right. I don't like liars, if the truth is so hard to say then you are doing something wrong. There will always be people in your life that think they are the most important humor them, they need the security.
Live each day as if it were your last, love like you'll never get hurt, dance as if no one is watching and most of all forgive others you never know when you are one who'll need forgiveness.
Life goes by very quickly and if you're not paying attention you are guaranteed to miss the quiet magic of simple moments: a friends smile, a child's laughter. We are so busy these days trying to get as much done as possible we forget that life is not supposed to happen in a minute. We consistenly fail to enjoy the sources of joy within our worlds. It's all around us, it's the good morning from a co worker, a song that makes you smile, being called mommy or daddy (which ever the case may be), the love of our lives, and friendship that has blossomed after ages apart.
We seem to believe that whatever we are doing needs to be done quickly, whether it's making dinner for your family, a conversation with a friend, the phone call you'v e been avoiding. We have come to think that if we cram more into each moment we will find happiness and joy. We fail to realize all the missed opportunties for a smile or a laugh and they go unnoticed. Most of us miss the chance to find real and lasting happiness because we are simply to busy to pay attention to what it is that truly brings joy to our lives.
I have no regrets, I do what I want when I want, say what I want, what I feel. I am the only one who has to live with the things I know I have done. If this all ends tomorrow, I've lived, laughed and loved.
