Happily married to a really great guy, mom to 3 beautiful kids and 2 feather babies.
I am 34 this year. I currently live in Coastal Southern Georgia. I grew up in Ironton, Ohio. I enlisted in the Army at 17 and left Ironton two days after I graduated from High School. I have been back to Ohio about 10 times since leaving and discovering how big the world really is. I'm married to an awesome, unique man that I was very lucky to have found. We have 3 children who are crazy, funny, awesome little people.
I have been around the world a couple of times, spent some time in the military, spent some time searching for God, spent even more time searching for myself, and experienced the miracle of creating and growing another human being inside my very own body. I have been lucky enough to experience real magical moments under full moons with irreplaceable friends I will probably never see again. I've danced naked around fires on tropical beaches with no fear of what others thought of my body, walked barefoot in and communed with nature. I have hurt people and been hurt, I've burned way to many bridges and have yet the nerve to try and reconstruct them. My regrets and mistakes are many but I still find myself surrounded by people who accept and love me for all the mess I can be.
I have been through a real war and made friends of some whom I was brainwashed into thinking should be my enemy. I have seen bravery and cowardice in its truest form. I've made friends with bonds stronger than any I have ever experienced. It was as though the fear and violence of war bonded us together in an inseparable way.
I'm temperamental, fickle and moody but loving and loyal and fiercely protective of those I love. I'm learning how to accept my own inevitable aging and through my own changing body I'm learning what beauty really is.
The next phase of my life is devoted to raising my children into open minded, strong individuals. Talk about a tough job.
