How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I stumbled across Cut Out and Keep purely by accident, I think I was doing a Google image search for something craft related, maybe looking for some inspiration and I saw this girl's Totoro hoodie. The more I saw on the site, the more I liked and thought my projects would fit in nicely.

What projects are you currently working on?

I'm not working on anything currently, Knocked together one of my little Totoro jumpers as a onesie for a friends little girl the other night. One of my sisters birthdays is at the end of March so I'm just trying to think of something cool to make her. She loves vintage and charity shops so something along those lines I would guess :)

What does your craft space look like?

My craft space is laughable! Just my wee sofa where I sit at night in a mad frenzy of stitching and glueing, and everything has to be cleared away before morning comes and my little monkey might get hold of it. One day, when my little girl is older and wants to craft with buttons instead of eating them, I hope to get myself a proper little craft corner sorted out. :)

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

A good old needle and thread is probably the one thing I couldn't craft without, I never find the time or opportunity to get out the sewing machine so everything gets hand sewn.

What do you craft along to?

I only craft at night (and mainly in my jammies) so I tend to sit in my corner making things with the telly on. I'll be the first to admit to watching too much TV, after Bo (my daughter) goes to bed, my husband and I sit watching endless American dramas like Justified, Mad Men and Walking Dead or comedies like Parks and Recreation, Portlandia and Archer. Feel a little less guilty about devoting so much time to the fictional lives of others if at the end of an evening I've created something lovely for someone I love <3

Favorite Craft

I like working with wool, felt and material mostly, been sewing since I was a young thing and like to sit of an evening stitching stuff to other stuff. I think it'd be fair to say I lean towards the geeky with my projects. I love all things animated, comic book and movie related. If you look at my crafts you'll see they are almost all gifts for friends and family members, I never seem to keep the stuff I make for myself :D

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

I'd love to try my hand at so many things, think my next move is to improve my crochet skills and get some awesome Amigurumi happening as it is criminal I don't have one of these to play with.

Who are your crafting heroes?

As far as crafting heroes go I don't have to look far, my mother and 3 older sisters are all amazingly creative and talented people. Christmas is always a wonderful time of year for us as home-made presents are my very favourite things! My husband is also an amazing papercrafter, his pop ups and paper mache are utterly adorable and technically amazing, have a look.
