What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
My favorite crafts involve glitter, glue, sequins, and paint! I am definitely one to gravitate towards bright colors and I really enjoy creating items that I can decorate my home with. My craft space can be described in two words - beautiful chaos! I like to think I am an organized person but one can only have so many storage bins and carts to hold all the magic in!
What do you craft along to?
I usually craft in the quiet, because it's a very rare occasion that I am alone in an empty house! I enjoy working when my daughter is at school and I can take advantage of the silence. Sometimes I do have my Pandora playing in the background, usually on a fun and upbeat dance station to keep my motivated.
What was the first project you ever made?
The first recognizable thing I ever made was for a school music project, in which I won first place! It was a piece of plywood that my grandfather helped me paint and decorate. With smalls nails attached and several bottle caps, it was transformed into a tambourine. I still remember every detail of this project, even as an adult!
What are your favorite items to make?
I love making seasonal crafts but also home decor, especially creations that I can hang on the walls and appreciate all year round.
