What do you craft along to?
Alyssa: I listen to This American Life and Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me podcasts while I craft. And I try to put on Grey’s Anatomy sometimes, but I usually get too distracted and forget what I was trying to do.
?Carla: Any kind of music (but probably 90's tunes or George Strait-style country) or a TV hodgepodge of Friends/Chopped/House Hunters.
What was the first project you ever made?
Alyssa: They were Christmas ornaments meant to look like a tree. It was a painted wooden triangle with colored pom poms glued on.
Carla: I’m not sure if it’s the VERY first craft I ever made, but as a kid I made my mom drawer sachets out of dryer sheets and potpourri for Christmas!
What are your favorite items to make?
Alyssa: I love to do festive and fun swizzle sticks. We start all of our dinner parties with a signature cocktail, and our friends really love unique swizzle sticks. It makes the party memorable.

Carla: I have a very full reader, but love perusing Pinterest to make sure I don't miss any unique ideas!
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
We also have a really fun etsy shop where we sell hand painted and hand glittered kitchen utensils, party supplies, and other things we’d want for ourselves. And we wanted to thank you for including us as a crafty superstar! We are so excited to be part of the community now.
