combat boots

okay so i just got some new boots ,legitimate military grade combat boots (ROTC was just giving them out) they're still in great shape and now i wanna do something i was just gonna do basic chain and spikes but that seems over done , I'm open to ideas ~This one Laydi

you can paint the bottom rim some metallic color.

There are special paints made just for leather that come in a bunch of funky colors. People in the 90s and early 2000s would take a pair of bright boots and rub black shoe polish over them to get a color+black marbled effect. It looks really cool and it's easy to do.

I don't know if the top folds over, but you could get some fabric and line the inside so you would have a cool pattern to show if they do fold.

I got annoyed at being unable to buy boot laces in colours I really liked, so I bought paracord and used it as shoelaces. Just make sure to melt the ends so they don't fray!
