Making a ring can be very intimidating, but is actually quite simple. I was so excited when I spotted these spiked beads at Michaels that I bought two packs. Follow for how to make this cute spiked ring.

Description

Making a ring can be very intimidating, but is actually quite simple. I was so excited when I spotted these spiked beads at Michaels that I bought two packs. Follow for how to make this cute spiked ring.

Instructions

  1. Small 104073 2f2014 08 26 043313 october%2b7%2b2013%2b006.1

    Materials.

  2. Small 104073 2f2014 08 26 043716 october%2b7%2b2013%2b011.1

Cut a long piece of wire. Take a marker that is a similar size to your finger and wrap the wire around so that it looks like it does in the picture. The overlapping part of the wires will be the back of the ring.

  3. Small 104073 2f2014 08 26 044224 october%2b7%2b2013%2b015.1

Take the three spike beads and thread them onto your wire. Slide them around the loop so that they sit on the top of the ring between the two parallel wire ends.

  4. Small 104073 2f2014 08 26 044638 october%2b7%2b2013%2b018.1

Use your pliers to hold the loop wire and the wire end together close to the spike beads on one side of the ring. Bend the end wire out as it looks in the picture. Repeat on the other side.

  5. Small 104073 2f2014 08 26 045107 october%2b7%2b2013%2b019.1

Take one wire end and wrap it around the loop wire three or four times. You will probably have cut the wire shorter so that it will pass through the loop as you are wrapping it.

  6. Small 104073 2f2014 08 26 045355 october%2b7%2b2013%2b022.1

Repeat on the other side, and trim the wires.
