I love ribbon, flowers, and flip flops so why not put them together? This is easy and cheap. I got $1.00 ribbon on sale and a bunch of daisies for $1.99. The flip flops were from last summer. I used 5/8" wide ribbon. Just pick something that will cover the strap. And you can just wear them around the house until it's time for the Spring debut.

Instructions

  1. Small 100 1377 1296771702

I started by covering the thong. Just glue a piece starting at the bottom, wrap around and glue at the top.

  2. Small 100 1378 1296771774

Measure how much ribbon you need by starting where the strap meets the middle to the point where it reaches the thong part. Follow the contour carefully.

  3. Small 100 1380 1296771933

Cut the top so that it is angled like in the pic.

  4. Small 100 1386 1296772057

Starting at top, glue down with glue gun. Go slowly, pulling tight to follow contour.

  5. Small 100 1387 1296772182

Cut flower off leaving as little steam as possible. Use LOTS of glue at thing meeting point. Hold flower down tight making sure the glues dries. That's it.
