Pokédress Generation One

So relieved when I caught the last few!

I have created a dress out of the first 151 Pokémon cards with duct tape on the back. There is a small amount of red tulle on the bottom. I also have a matching purse made with the back of the cards facing out, complete with zipper and ribbon, and a choker made of the energy card symbols and ribbon. The wrist cuffs are made of pre-made ruffle ribbon and eyelet closures. I also have two earrings, each with four badges. They are made of Sculpey, then painted with acrylics. My friend painted the shoes blue, and we put metallic Fimo Pokeballs on them before spaying it with a matte finish sealer. This was worn during Anime Detour 2012 for the cosplay competition (didn't win). I also am going to enter it in the ConVergence competition. The first three Pokemon games released in the USA were Red, Blue, and Yellow. Red tulle, blue shoes, and yellow ruffle bracelets. The yellow duct tape is just because the border of the cards are yellow. Blue duct tape was originally only for the purse because the back of the cards are blue (duh) and we eventually used it for the bottom of the back of the dress. -Will be worn by a friend during the 2013 competition along with myself in a Second Generation Pokédress.
