I got a free laptop sleeve when I got my computer. It was plain black with a company logo printed on it. I wanted to personalize it and make it look more interesting. Note: I'm not exactly sure what it is but I do believe its neoprene.

Before you start! Test your textile paint on a small part of your laptop sleeve. Blast it with the blow dryer, if it sticks well then... we're all set!
Using your masking tape draw borders, patterns, decoration etc.
Get your sponge brush/paint brush and apply paint on the empty, non-taped areas of the sleeve.
Blast it with some hot air.
Peel off the masking tape CAREFULLY to reveal your print.
Now for my sleeve I wanted to put a detailed print using rubber stamps. So I dabbed some paint on my rubber stamp and stamped the sleeve.
Before you put another layer of paint always remember to dry it out first with your dryer so it doesn't get messy. Also, so that your prints come out clear.
After your last layer of paint, heat it up once more. If this doesn't dry up your paint wait a little longer.
